The Cool
History Packet contains includes Cool History Questions, a Bonus Question or
Activity and a Cool Hands-On Activity for every week of your
BiblioPlan.
The
2008 or newer version of America and the World 1600-1850 BiblioPlan
and the 2009 version of America and the World 1850-2000 BiblioPlan
fits best with BiblioPlan’s America and the
World Cool History Packets.
Unless noted, all the
questions come from the Story of the World readings for that week.
The chapters are listed under the heading for easy reference. The questions
are almost always listed in order to make it easy for the child to find the
answers on their own. We suggest students do the questions after listening
to or reading all the assigned chapters in Story of the World for
that week. If more than one chapter or part of a chapter is assigned,
then the questions are listed in order of their reading. Answers to all the questions
are included in the Parent Companion E-Book for America and the World
1850-Present.
The bonus
questions and activities are not found in the Story of the World.
They are extra questions or activities that correspond with either the
reading, the time period or the country. They are designed to expand
your child’s knowledge and interest in history. Most of them are
easily found using a quick search on the Internet. Answers to all the
bonus questions
are included in the
Parent Companion E-Book for America and the World
1850-Present.
The Cool
Hands-On Activities are family oriented, easy to do and fun! Most materials
are easily found and do not require a large amount of planning. Some have
directions, and others are just suggestions. Those activities without
directions can be found using a quick search on the Internet. The Cool
Hands-On Activities correspond to either the reading, the time period, or
the country being studied in order to expand your child’s knowledge and joy
of history.
